The Kora stove was installed on a custom-cut black granite corner hearth, providing a neat fit that complements the modern interior. The stove’s compact footprint makes it ideal for smaller spaces while still offering impressive heating performance and efficiency.

Pellet stoves provide a controlled, steady heat source and can run automatically thanks to their integrated hopper and programmable settings — offering convenience and comfort without the mess of traditional fuels.

After commissioning, the Kora now efficiently heats the open-plan living area and the open landing leading to the upstairs bedroom. With its cloud-based smart app, the homeowner can turn the stove on remotely and set automatic daily timers — ensuring the perfect temperature when waking up on cold winter mornings.

This level of installation flexibility is possible thanks to the 80 mm twin-wall insulated flue system. Twin-wall systems allow flues to be safely routed through both walls and roofs, making them perfect for homes without existing chimneys. It is essential to use twin-wall insulated pipework outdoors — the insulation helps maintain flue gas temperature, improving draft performance and preventing condensation buildup inside the pipe.

The flue rises cleanly up the side of the building’s box-profile sheeting, maintaining both safety and aesthetics while maximising stove efficiency.
