What does "Back Order" mean?

What does “Back Order” mean?
Due to the large number of products we offer, we may not always have everything in stock at our main Newmills Warehouse. If a product is marked as “Back Order,” it means we need to either transfer the item from another one of our warehouses or have it shipped directly from our supplier. This process typically takes about 1-2 working days, after which the item will be dispatched to you, usually arriving within another 1-2 working days.

In the event that the product is out of stock or there is a stocking error, we will promptly contact you with an estimated delivery date. At that time, you’ll have the option to continue with the order or cancel it—whichever you prefer.

This superior-grade fire cement is designed to withstand temperatures up to 1250°C (2280°F), making it ideal for repairing and sealing elements in high-heat environments such as fire bricks, stoves, fireplaces, and flue pipes. It ensures the creation of smoke- and gas-tight joints. Key Features Exceptional Heat Resistance: VITCAS Black Fire Cement withstands temperatures up to 1250°C (2280°F), ensuring longevity and reliability in demanding applications. Multipurpose Application: Perfect for sealing and jointing internal flue pipes, repairing small cracks in firebricks and firebacks, as well as performing minor repairs on fireplaces, gas cookers, stoves, ranges, central heating systems, and boilers. Easy Application: The black fire cement is easily applied straight from the tub, allowing fine joints to be made using a trowel, knife, or even by hand. Dependable Performance: After application, gradually heat the area to allow the cement to dry and cure, ensuring optimum performance in high-temperature environments. Instructions for Use Preparation: Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean, free from dirt, dust, and rust to maximise adhesion. Application: Apply Black Fire Cement directly from the tub using a trowel, knife, or hand. Work the cement well into the area, especially for fine joints. Heating: Gently heat the repaired surface as soon as possible, gradually raising the temperature to full operating levels over 3-4 hours. If cracks appear, apply more cement to reinforce the seal. Storage: Store any unused product in a cool, dry place, away from children and pets. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary. Limitations & Alternative Product Recommendations Black Fire Cement is not suitable for areas exposed to moisture or outdoor conditions. For these applications, we recommend using Vitcas Heatproof Screed or Outdoor Oven Cement, which are specially designed to provide durable, long-lasting performance in external environments. For mortar applications involving fire brick jointing, use Vitcas Heatproof Mortar for a strong, heat-resistant bond. For rendering tasks, choose Vitcas Fireplace Render, designed to provide heat resistance and a smooth, durable finish in high-temperature conditions. Disclaimer: These instructions are intended as a guide and are not a substitute for professional expertise. Always follow local building regulations, appliance manufacturer recommendations, and health & safety protocols. While Vitcas guarantees the quality of its products, the method and conditions of use are beyond our control. If in doubt, conduct preliminary tests before starting work.
