Double-sided / Tunnel Electric fires have been available for years, but double-sided electric fires are still a relatively new innovation. As a result, only a limited number of manufacturers currently produce them.

The challenge lies in creating a see-through fire that maintains a realistic flame, which adds complexity to the design.

Dimplex was a pioneer in this field, introducing the first electric fire that could be configured in multiple ways with their Opti-Myst range, Faber and Evonic have followed now with glass fronted options.

As demand for glass-fronted, double-sided, and room-divider fires increased, we decided to develop our own solutions using the Dimplex Opti-Myst Pro range.
