New Laminam install with ACR Neo 3P

Recently our fitters were sent to install one of our most popular pedestal stoves the ACR Neo 3P, only to discover the install could not be preformed as the wall behind the stove had been finished with Plaster board and insulation (Insulated Dry lining Board). The stove manufactures regulations stated that the rear of the stove must have at a minimium clearance of 250mm to combustibles,Building regulations also state the Flue pipe must 3 times its diameter from combustibles.

Our client wanted a clean look so stone cladding was out, we suggested a new product introduced to us called Laminam, It’s available in a variety of colours an can be fitted in one single piece so no joints or grout, behind the Laminam a fireproof board was required on the wall called Scamol Board, this product is a high density insulating board prevent any heat tranfering to the combustible dry wall board.

The finish project speaks for itself, we think the Laminam finish adds to the stove and the over all finish of the install, the prefect back drop.
